There is the Faculty of Electronics where our Department of Electronic Devices and Systems is located.

Our department is the only department of the university, which covers such a wide range of specializations of future bachelors and masters. The first head of the department (then - technical electronics) Adolf Ivanovich Vyshnevsky laid in 1951 such areas of training, which later grew the Faculty of Radio Electronics (now - electronics). Teachers, researchers, engineering, and technical staff have created laboratories of vacuum and electron-beam devices, quantum electronics, the technology of electronic devices, ultra-high frequency devices, and more. Graduates of the department later headed other departments, research institutes, and factories.
